DDR5 prices are still a bit high, but it’s possible to find good kits at reasonable and affordable prices for a gaming or workstation build. 5600MT/s options can be found at around $85-1000, while 6000MT/s and 6400MT/s kits can be found around $100-140, depending on latency and the platform you have (AMD or Intel)
Both AMD and Intel system can benefit from faster RAM, AMD recommended maximum speed is 6000MT/s for overall compatibility, it also benefits from lower latency, meaning that CL30/CL32 kits could improve performance on Ryzen CPUs. Intel can also have a bump in performance with lower latency kits, but benefits from faster kits like 6400MT/s CL32 or higher.
